Disneyland

This last week we took the kids out of school for the week and went to the "Happiest Place on Earth"...Disneyland. It was great fun! It's been about 3 1/2 years since the last time we went, so it was time.

We had so much fun meeting different Disney characters. Everytime we saw one, I loved watching my kids faces, especially Halle and Karli. They were totally in awe of them.

Maya's favorite characters are Chip and Dale, so of course we had to snap another picture.
We went to the Minnie and Friends breakfast in Disneyland, and it was a great way to start our trip because we got to see so many characters at the same time.

I love how Karli looks like she is in heaven with all the characters!

Karli, Kate and Halle loved going on the Merry-go-round. We went on them quite a few times while we were waiting for Jarren, Maya and Jason to go on the big rides. That was one thing that made this trip a little bit harder, because Jarren did not want to go on the little kid rides at all. And he got mad if we went on a few of them.

Here's our family waiting for the parade. It was an awesome parade. Me and the younger 3 girls watched the parade twice and Jason, Jarren and Maya watched it 3 times. They got to watch it an extra time because Disneyland was actually open for 24 hours on Leap Year. I didn't want to stay too late, so I kept the younger ones back at the hotel, while Jason kept the older 2 at the park a little later (but nowhere close to the 24 hours).
Jason and Kate in the Monkey Cage on the train. Fun!
What's a Disneyland trip without seeing Mickey Mouse.

Jarren was so excited because he got to do Jedi training.
We all love daddy!
Our last day in Disneyland we got to eat at an all you can eat barbecue restaurant with our friends, the Simons. The food was delicious and the company was great!
Karli wanted her picture taken.

Maya was pretty excited to eat chili out of a bread bowl. Yum!!
Enjoying the lollipop from Disneyland.
