Backwards Day

This week is Spirit Week at Jarren's school and yesterday was backwards/crazy clothes day. Jarren was so excited about it. He had his clothes and shoes set out the night before exactly how he was going to wear them. Mismatched shoes and socks, backwards pants and shirt inside out. Fun!

Crazy Hair

This is what Kate looks like in the morning if she has a bath at night. It's pretty funny to see her hair all over her eyes with her little mouth peeking out, smiling like crazy.

We are home from Disneyland now and we had so much fun! We went with Jason's parents and some good friends from church. We spent 4 days in Disneyland, so needless to say we were a little bit tired when we got home. It's a good thing we got to spend some time in the sun since we drove part of the way home in the snow.

We are in Disneyland

Our family left for California on Monday (my birthday- Happy Birthday to me!). We drove most of the day to get here, but then luckily we had enough time to go to the beach. The kids LOVED the beach. Kate enjoyed tasting the sand. Jason enjoyed body surfing, ALOT! Jarren and Maya seemed to like everything, the water the sand, etc. And Karli, well, she's Karli and she spent most of the time whining because her nose was running.

So far we have spent 3 days at Disneyland, we have one more day left to play. We have had so much fun!!! Maya has really surprised me. She has loved everything! She wants to go on all the rides and she likes most of them, even the scary ones. She cracked me up after one ride that had some pretty scenery, "Soaring Over California" she said, "Mom, that was beautiful." She has been daddy's little buddy, she wants to go on most of the rides with him.

Karli hasn't liked most of the rides, except for Dumbo and the Merry-go-round. Most of the other rides make her cry because she thinks they are going to be scary. Today we got lucky and got to see 4 princesses, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Aurora. Karli was so funny with them. She showed Aurora her Cinderella necklace and then sat right down on Cinderella's lap. And then later on in the day we saw Minnie Mouse and she got so upset after our turn to take pictures with her because Minnie hadn't given her a kiss, it was hilarious.

Jarren has been very cute. At the beach he wrote in the sand, "I love you mom." and "Happy Birthday Andrea." I thought it was very cute! He seems to be having fun, and so is Kate. I'll add more when we get home. I'll also add some of our fun pictures.

First Lost Tooth

Jarren lost his first tooth on Saturday. He was so proud of himself because he was the one who pulled it out. Jason and I had been trying for a few days to let him let us pull it out, but he wouldn't let us. I was actually afraid the dentist was going to have to pull it out because his permanent tooth was growing in behind his baby tooth. Anyway, it's out now and his permanent tooth is already about half way in.

Gross!!!!

For those of you who really know me, you know what a germ freak I am. My kids are always washing their hands or putting sanitizer on. That being said, it makes the next thing I say even better. I went to check on my cute little Kate and where do you think I found her? In the bathroom playing in the toilet that someone had gone #2 in and hadn't flushed it and so my sweet little angel was grabbing the toilet paper out of the toilet. EWWWW!! I hurried and picked her up, washed her hands (while she's still trying to touch everything). Then I didn't think she was clean enough (what if she had gotten it on her clothes or in her hair), so then she got put into the tub. Just let it be known that it wasn't my kids who hadn't flushed the toilet, 2 of my 3 that are potty trained still need help in the bathroom, and we had 5 neighbor kids over at the time.
