Growing Baby

Kate had her 4 month well baby check today. I can't believe she is 4 months old already. Anyway, she is growing like a weed. She is already 14 lbs. 6 oz. and 24 inches long (75th percentile).

Oh, the things people say

1. While I'm standing in line at Sam's Club, with my 4 kids standing/playing next to me, the cashier says with a smile on her face, "Are they all yours?"

2. I took Kate to the doctor, and I didn't have any other kids with me. The lady that checked us in said, "You don't look old enough to have a baby." I laughed and said this was my 4th. I think she was embarrassed and afraid that she offended me; oh no, I'm glad my gray hair isn't giving my age away.

Easter Weekend

We had a lot of fun this weekend being together with family. We had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at my brothers house. Jarren and Maya were so excited to find candy and eggs. Karli didn't really care about how fast she went, she was content to eat the jelly beans that came out in her basket from an open egg.

Jason's grandparents came for a visit. The kids (and us, of course) were very excited to see them. This was the first time they had seen Kate.

Here they are all dressed up for church in their nice Easter clothes.

I thought this picture of Karli was too cute.

Pigtails

My baby isn't even 4 months old and she has enough hair for pigtails on top. In fact, she really needs her bangs cut too, but Jason says I should wait a little longer.

I Finally Did It!

I have finally done something that I vowed I would never do. Set up a blog. I have had so much fun looking at friends blogs, that I thought it would be fun to share what's happening with our family. With 4 kids I can't guarantee that it will be updated frequently, but I will do my best.

I decided on the name of our blog after Jason and I took Maya to Disney on Ice this past weekend. The theme was Princess Wishes and so we dressed Maya up like a Belle and she was beautiful. We didn't take the other kids, but I was informed that Karli's favorite princess is Snow White and Jarren's is Cinderella. So we have a house of princesses and a prince.
