Jordan's Wedding

My little brother, Jordan,  got married this last Friday.  Our family really likes his wife, Esther, and are really excited to have her be part of our family.

 It was sure hard waiting for Jordan and Esther to come out of the temple and it was really hot.

This picture didn't turn out super clear, but it's all the grandkids on my side of the family.  Esther's family made the super cute dresses for the girls.  They also made the bow ties for the boys.  Jarren wasn't impressed by the bow ties, but he was reassured he would only have to wear it one time.

This was the best picture I got of my kids.  Maya's eyes are closed, but the next picture explains why it's the best.  Jarren thought the photographer said to pull a funny face.  I told him he never said such a thing, so I'm sure the rest of the pictures he took of Jarren look the same.

 Again, Maya's eyes are closed, it must have been too sunny for her.  It's a good thing she's cute, even with her eyes closed.

Jarren's Birthday

My baby turned 10.  I know that sounds so silly, but I still consider him my baby.  Jarren gets so excited for his birthdays and is very good about making me and Jason and all his grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles a list of about 20 things that he would like for his birthday.  This year his list included things like an ipad, ipod, sports equipment, Legos, even down to Flamin' Hot Cheetos.  As it got closer to his birthday I had to kindly ask him for things he realistically wanted the most, since the ipad was obviously out of the question.

Last Day of School

Seriously...where does the time go?  I feel like my kids just barely started kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grade.  Now they are done for the summer.  I feel like I just barely took their beginning of year pictures and now I'm posting their end of year ones.

Here is Preschool Graduation for Kate.  She still has one more year of preschool, so I guess she gets to graduate twice.  The little girl next to Kate is her best friend and neighbor Sydney.

Maya thought her teacher was great this year!  Her little face is red from being out in the scorching heat for their school's end of year Dance Festival.

Karli is happy because school is over.  Now she's officially a 1st grader.
